THE ARCHIVE
The archive is append-only and time-locked: entries are signed when captured, chained to what came before, and independently timestamped by RFC 3161 timestamp authorities, so the record of Tuesday cannot be quietly rewritten on Thursday. Nothing is curated out for being old, embarrassing, or inconvenient. Models change. The record doesn't.
What goes in is a rule, not a taste. Observations enter the archive when they are captured — signed at capture, chained, timestamped — and receipts are admitted to the public transparency log inside the same transaction that mints them. Nobody curates the record on the way in, and nothing is selected out after the fact. The proof that this stays true is published where anyone can poll it: the checkpoint.
A receipt can only evidence what was being recorded at the time. If you were not minting receipts in the month you are being asked about, we cannot evidence that month — nothing here reaches backwards. What we can do is start the record today, so that the next month someone asks about is answerable.
